Why Strafe?

Back in college, we may have played a few games. One of which had a particular bug/feature that allowed your player to run faster if you ran forward and sideways at the same time. The game's term for the sideways run was Strafe.

Since my player always ran sideways, my callsign became Strafe. One of my early creations was a random level generator for the same game called GenWad. So the name stuck. And the same idea, always looking for ways to do more and run faster seems to fit well. So welcome to Strafe Enterprises.

Our Core Values

01

Work is good

Genesis 2:15 "The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it."

02

Work has been cursed

Everything was perfect. No death, no sin, no curse. Then the fall, and here we are. Work is now cursed, but we can look forward to being productive without the curse someday. For now, we seek to excel despite the difficulties.

03

Discovery and creation can be a joy

Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings is to search things out.
